Working with Simon made me realise I should have done this sooner! His caring manner and curiosity around what I brought to sessions is a huge part of what has helped me to make changes.

Gestalt Coaching principles

  • Awareness: Paying attention to what is happening in the present moment, both internally and externally.

  • Holism: Recognising that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and that all aspects of a person are interconnected.

  • Relationship-Centred: Building a strong, trusting relationship between coach and client.

  • Here and Now: Focusing on the present moment, rather than what has happened in the past or worrying about the future.

  • Change is Constant: Accepting that change is an ongoing process that can only happen in the present.
